Roots vacuum device

In a Roots vacuum device,the main function of the front-end pump is to create the necessary reserve vacuum for the Roots pump.Due to the low vacuum degree of a single-stage water ring pump,according to actual needs,two Roots pumps can be connected in series and then a two-stage water ring pump can be used as the front-end pump to form the unit,or a pneumatic mechanical vacuum pump can be connected in parallel with the water ring pump as the front-end pump of the Roots pump to meet higher requirements of the vacuum system.

The working principle of Roots vacuum device is relatively simple and effective.When the unit is started,the front stage pump is first started,and after it reaches a certain vacuum degree,the Roots pump is started.The Roots pump works in conjunction with the front stage pump to gradually extract the gas in the system until the required vacuum degree is reached.Throughout the process,the rotor of the Roots pump rotates at a certain speed,and gas is drawn in and expelled by changing the volume of the working chamber.
