The 2SK water ring vacuum pump is a commonly used vacuum equipment,which has the characteristics of compact structure,easy maintenance,and wide application range.Its working principle is to use the centrifugal force of water to form a rotating water ring.When the impeller rotates,the water is thrown out in all directions by the centrifugal force,forming a rotating water ring between the inner wall of the pump body and the impeller.The upper inner surface of the water ring is in contact with the impeller hub.When the impeller rotates clockwise,during the first half of the rotation,the inner surface of the water ring gradually separates from the hub,and the cavity formed between adjacent blades gradually increases.The pumped gas is continuously sucked into the cavity through the crescent shaped suction hole through the pump inlet pipe;During the second half of the rotation,the inner surface of the water ring gradually approaches the hub,and the cavity between the two adjacent blades gradually shrinks.The gas is compressed,so the pressure continues to increase.When the pressure increases to greater than the external pressure,the gas is discharged,continuously pumping away the gas in the sealed container,forming a certain vacuum.

The 2SK water ring vacuum pump adopts a double impeller structure,consisting of long and short impellers,pump body,bearings,couplings,etc.The long impeller,long pump body,and suction part form the high vacuum stage,while the short pump body,short impeller,and discharge part form the low vacuum stage.The two stages are separated by a middle wall,which has exhaust holes and suction ports.This structure enables the 2SK water ring vacuum pump to maintain a high pumping rate in the high vacuum zone.

When installing the 2SK water ring vacuum pump,ensure that the pump foundation is level and the pump body is placed horizontally.The connection of the pipeline flange should be tight,especially the intake pipeline should not have any leaks.The intake pipe near the pump should be equipped with a gate valve to be closed before parking to prevent water backflow in the pump.A vacuum gauge should be installed between the intake gate valve and the pump intake to check the working status of the pump at any time.Gate valves should also be installed on the water supply pipeline to regulate the water supply volume.
